For healthier tanks

During storage, liquid hydrocarbons tend to absorb the ambient humidity. This is called the "tank respiration phenomenon". It leads to the accidental introduction of trace water that can generate a favorable environment for the development of bacteria, fungi and yeast. The proliferation of these microorganisms has numerous effects:

  • Feed circuit clogging
  • Emulsion formation
  • Corrosion

These problems may arise at any point in the distribution chain, from storage tank to motor vehicle. The treatment of this pollution requires the use of broad-spectrum biocides used for the prevention or treatment of these problems. Our biocides can be used for treatment of both aqueous and organic phases:

  • Water feet of oil storage tanks (EB301W)
  • Petroleum distillates (EB7301)

Our products offer spectacular results:

  • Following a 6-hour contact time with the hydrocarbon, the number of living microorganisms is reduced by half.
  • All traces of pollution have disappeared after approximately 36 hours.

Our biocides are sold exclusively to distribution professionals.
